Puerto Galera: A Tropical Paradise
Puerto Galera is just 4-5 hours away from the metro, and is well known for its long white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and evergreen backdrop. There are a lot of fun activities to help you relax and unwind with your partner. Activities such as scuba diving, hiking, island hopping, jet skiing, boating, snorkeling, and a lot more.
How to get there:
You may take a ferry ride with some of the country’s commercial ferry companies or book a plane ride to save time.
For those who are tight on their budgets, you may choose to take a bus to Batangas pier from Buendia/Taft terminal. It costs less than PHP500 per person for a one way trip in an air-conditioned bus. The bus ride takes about two and a half hours. Once at the pier, buy tickets for a ro-ro (roll-on/roll-off) boat to take you to White Beach. The boat ride costs not more than PHP300.
